As part of the acquisition process, a bidding company would require a full catalogue of licenses, liabilities and limitations that are incorporated in the code that makes up a target company's assets. OpenLogic's new service aims to simplify that process by analysing the code directly and producing a suitable full audit for those companies. |

$3 million upfront that you didn't need to spend, but the bigger issue is that you don't have the rights to that software forever and you'll constantly have to re-buy it over time. I do not believe people should buy open source as a matter of religion. |
